Discord Game Night
2020 International Women's Day Theme
Discord Game Night is an internal, employee-facing activity that invites our team members to bring their families and friends to the office for a night of fun and games. I designed bold and fun promotional graphics for Discord Game Night on International Women's Day, celebrating female gamers and employees.
The designs feature many gaming references like Wumpus wearing a Princess Peach Super Crown and Toadette from Super Mario, alongside various game controllers. Notably, Pinky from Pacman takes the spotlight, symbolizing the first video game designed to attract women and serving as an empowering concept for Discord's female employees.

"All the computer games available at the time were of the violent type - war games and space invader types. There were no games that everyone could enjoy." And so, he wanted to make a game that would appeal to women and couples by using cut graphics, bright colors, and a non-violent theme."
